Performance Coaching

Helping everyday people become stronger, fitter and more resilient through purposeful, long-term coaching.

Hi, I'm Harvey.

I'm a qualified Performance Coach, Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach with a lifelong background in endurance sport.

I've competed across a wide range of disciplines, from 800 metres to marathons and Ironman, achieving personal bests including a sub 16.00 5k, a 2:40 marathon and a 10:13 Ironman. I've also coached athletes who have gone on to represent England and Great Britain.

But Harvey Rose Performance Coaching isn't about elite sport – it's about helping you achieve your best performance, whatever your starting point.

My coaching is built around one simple principle: long-term progress over short-term fixes.

I don't provide 4-week transformations or quick-win programmes. Instead, I create structured, sustainable training plans that fit around your life and help you build strength, speed and endurance over time.

Whether your goal is to complete your first 5k, prepare for HYROX, improve your running, or take on a marathon or Ironman, every programme is tailored specifically to you.

Using TrainingPeaks and performance data, your training is continually monitored, measured and adjusted to ensure you keep moving forward.

I also place a strong emphasis on strength and conditioning – not for aesthetics, but for real-world performance that supports your chosen goals.

As a 52-year-old competitive cyclist, runner and HYROX athlete, I understand first-hand the challenges of balancing training, work, family and recovery as we get older. That's why I specialise in helping people train intelligently, sustainably and consistently.

Most importantly, coaching is an investment. I intentionally work with a limited number of athletes so I can provide the attention, support and accountability every client deserves.

If you're looking for long-term performance gains rather than short-term fixes, I'd love to help.
